If this sounds like you, then we need to talk Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Graphics Installer to join our team. The Graphics Installer at Frazer reports to the Interior Supervisor , and is responsible for accurately and efficiently applying vinyl graphics to EMS modules meeting both quality and time expectations for the graphics application team. Activities include measuring, cutting, laminating, and applying vinyl material to painted EMS modules. Also includes but is not limited to removal of existing vinyl. What Does a Week in the Life of the Graphics Installer Look Like? Preparing the conspicuity material by first taking measurements of the area to be covered and then cutting it with a rotary cutter. Installation of vinyl material on EMS modules and/or other vehicle types. This involves measuring and/or estimating (where called for by supervisor.) It also involves preparing the surface so that it will optimally accept vinyl material. Installation involves layout, position and alignment of cut graphics and stripe on the vehicle using a tape measure and a squeegee. Installer may or may not have a blueprint (Photo) to work from; refer to supervisor. In some instances a wet application using a solution is used for better positioning of cut graphics. Cleaning up any leftover marks and glue, and cleanup of area of paper, tape, tags. Consistently at work and on time; Ensuring work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arriving at meetings and appointments on time. Secondary Duties: Assist the paint department with buffing and final detail wipe down and unit clean up duties as needed. Installer will also be preparing the conspicuity material by first taking measurements of the area to be covered and then cutting it with a rotary cutter Attend all mandatory meetings.
