JOB SUMMARYCutting inventory through the use of saw machine as specified according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Responsible for operating a saw machine to cut steel material.* Display the ability to accurately use basic measuring devices, including tape measure and micrometers.* Display the ability to use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps.* Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure* Assemble customer orders according to work orders* Record pertinent material information to work orders, material, or other forms as specified by management* Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.* Works and coordinates with multiple areas of warehouse, and coworkers to complete tasks.* Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures.* Safety sensitive for his/her owns safety and/or of others safety.* Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks* Enthusiastic team player with a motivating positive attitude* Committed to a workplace of culture and respect.* Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality* May need to work overtime and weekends as assigned (depending on business need).* Performance of other Warehouse or other tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.* Special projects as specified by management.Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
