Qualifications:
The Lead Technician must have at least 4 years of experience in the residential AV installation industry. Must pursue continuing education on systems including audio, video, security, and lighting. Must be able to read house plans and other job site related documentation. Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Troubleshooting skills are essential. Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent with in-house job management software. Attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring.
Objective: To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time.
Summary of Position:
The Lead Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at a customer's job site. The lead technician will need to directly communicate with the project manager and properly communicate with any other techs on the jobsite. Organizing supplies, product, and transportation of high-value equipment to the job site will be among daily duties.
