Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking an Applications Engineer focused on global industrial water treatment solutions interested in working for a technology-driven company. This hands-on role involves working in both lab environments and commercial sites, contributing to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment plants. The engineer will collaborate closely with the process and proposals team to develop practical solutions driven by experimental data through feasibility studies.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and operate lab-scale pilot units for various water treatment technologies.
  • Prepare test plans, test reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and new pilot systems.
  • Support commissioning and on-site activities as required.
  • Perform design calculations using membrane simulation tools, statics, and data collection software.
  • Develop new process schemes utilizing emerging technologies.
  • Organize project priorities and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage and organize data within a database.
  • Develop standard protocols for operating pilot units.
  • Manage the maintenance of equipment and supply of materials.
  • Perform analytical analysis on water samples.

Skills/Experience/Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or relevant fields.
  • Experience in water treatment technologies such as chemical softening, membrane separation, and thermal evaporation.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
