The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Logistics Specialist, working in Oil and Gas industry in Houston, Texas, 77073, United States.

• Be the primary interface of the procurement and service team for all operations aspects.
• Represent logistics function in all related meetings of the assigned area/region.
• Collect business/customer needs, setting up the right priorities, and translating them into proper inputs to relevant functions (supply chain, engineering, logistics, billing, etc.).
• Plan and execute material logistics transactions, including goods receiving, shipment request and customs export execution.
• Keep properly update the tracking files relevant to the materials under management.
• Keep updated the relationship with the main supplier, including materials readiness to ship.

Experience Required for Your Success

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Requires 5+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to access Oracle and manage XLS files to perform goods receiving, create shipping invoice, conversing with freight forwarder and shipping company, including AES filing for Customs export control
• Good verbal and written communication skills and be available to have rhythm of call with project manager to discuss job progress
• Good computer skills
• General knowledge of procedures and practices of transportation and distribution methods
