Position Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the backroom processes. The Production Manager supports all

aspects of our production area, focusing on people leadership, safety, quality, and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides day-to-day management of the Production Team, including recruitment, coaching, supervision,

scheduling, and development.

- Works with team to process apparel and hard goods while maintaining or exceeding departmental KPIs.

- Manage and influence the team by communicating clear company goals daily, weekly, and monthly (see production standards).

- Ensure the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store according to GWH policies and

procedures.

- Keep abreast of merchandise knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing.•Ensure accurate and timely reporting of

assigned personnel's time and production through various production reports.

- Ability to accurately operate store systems and ensure financial and statistical counts are completed (donor counts, production

standards, etc.)

- Responsible for prioritizing workload assignments and communicating priorities throughout the shift; works closely with the

team members to correct performance issues and resolve day-to-day process problems.

- Identify operational issues, structure resolutions, and follow through to deliver results.

- Coaching and performance management of a high-performing team of up to ten (10) to fifteen (15) members.

- Develop a safety, security, and loss prevention culture to reduce on-the-job injuries, customer injuries, and shrinkage.

- Commits to oversee GWH's compliance to local, federal, and state laws and regulations.

- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

- Must safely conduct work; maintain good housekeeping standards; have all aisles and pathways to fire exits clear and free

from clutter; and keep work areas neat and clean.

- May be asked to attend training sessions and participate in activities outside GWH.

- Adheres to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.

- Management/Supervisor with one (1) or more years' experience is preferred.

- Must know various computer software applications; experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Strong sense of urgency, flexibility, multitasking, and willingness to adapt to change.

- Well-developed production management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of KPIs

and experience tracking KPIs.

- Good time management and organizational skills.

- Willing and able to travel to any/all sites within the GWH territory and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

as needed.

- Must have reliable transportation.

2. Donor Value (Assigned District vs budget)
3. Donors Integrity and Growth (Assigned District vs budget)
4. Budget Sales vs. Actual Sales (Assigned District vs. budget)
5. Payroll as a Percent of Revenue (Assigned District vs goal)
6. Budgeted Profit vs Actual Profit (Assigned District vs goal)
7. Retention Rate (Measured by annual leadership retention vs. LY, 30-New Hire day vs. goal, and Annual Retention Rate vs. LY)
8. Customer Service (Feedback from team, and secret shopper and donor ratings for assigned district)
9. Change Roundup as a % of Transactions (>30% and higher than the previous year)
10. Active with Zero hours TMs vs Goal (Zero (0) - 28+ days) (Assigned District)
11. Administration - Performance management/Training (Assigned District at <5%)
12. Reporting-, Team Meeting Minutes, Safety, Over/Short (Assigned District)
13. Safety - 95% quarterly safety metric score
14. Goodwill LMS Training completion percentage.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
The ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, kneel, push and pull. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and, occasionally, lift/move

items up to 100 lbs. (e.g., large bags of donations, televisions, furniture, etc.) Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

An indoor work environment with occasional exposure to outside temperatures. The noise level in the normal work environment

is usually moderate.
