Processing Manager

Description:

We are seeking a Processing Manager to lead land imaging teams to meet technical and financial targets by employing strategic planning, project management, and strong leadership, while promoting quality, developing teams, and fostering a collaborative culture.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects related to the processing of data, including pre-processing, for time and depth imaging multi-client and proprietary surveys.
  • Oversee operation in terms of work assignments, schedules and quality controls as well as managing personnel.
  • Manage multiple onshore imaging projects, create project teams and set priorities for their project teams.
  • Set and monitor priorities for the onshore imaging team, consistent with department objectives.
  • Ensure all onshore imaging projects meet or exceed quality and timing objectives.
  • Work closely with technical experts to create workflows and cost estimates for proposals.
  • Serve as an internal client for quality controlling current projects.
  • Escalate project issues to relevant technical resources to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide effective communication and resource planning with High Performance computing (HPC).
  • Provide on-going feedback to team members and formally transfer knowledge and skills to aid in professional growth and development of processing staff.
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing effective technical proposals and presentations to customers.
  • Responsible and accountable for the health and safety performance of the department.
  • Develop and implement a plan that includes job specific HSE instructions for all employees including new or transferred employees and maintain copies of all training records.
Job requirements (Education and Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, Physics, Mathematics or related field of study.
  • Ten (10) years of seismic processing and imaging experience within the industry based on geophysical and geological principles, including previous team leader/manager and project responsibilities.
