Position Purpose

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Production Manager, you will oversee the production process of various cosmetics products, including liquids, hot pours, and powders. Your expertise in managing cosmetics or pharmaceuticals will be crucial in ensuring high quality standards and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process of cosmetics products, from raw materials to finished packaging.
• Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective manufacturing.
• Manage production staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes and quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor production metrics and KPIs, report on performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory levels to meet demands while minimizing excess stock.
• Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing production operations in cosmetics.
• Deep knowledge of cosmetics production processes, including liquids, hot pours, and powders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with proven effectiveness.
• Ability to uphold high-quality standards while meeting production targets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of GMP and relevant industry regulations.
• Familiarity with production management software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
