Position SummaryThe Manager, Warehouse & Logistics ensures efficient procurement, sourcing, and shipping operations to meet production and pharmacy needs, driving cost optimization and compliance. This role fosters cross-department collaboration, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to Empower's mission of delivering innovative, high-quality medications.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manages procurement strategies and purchasing activities, ensuring timely availability of materials and inventory while optimizing cost and supplier relationships.
- Develops key performance indicators and procurement strategies for cost savings, ensuring inventory alignment with production needs and efficient shipping.
- Coordinates inventory transfers, collaborates with suppliers, and implements shipping strategies to meet compliance and cost-efficiency goals.
- Oversees vendor qualification, manages raw material price increases, and advises on supply delays while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Fosters teamwork, provides mentorship, and ensures smooth shipping operations while continuously improving processes and adhering to safety policies.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge and Skills- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, business acumen, and the capacity to make sound decisions based on available data, tools, and resources.
- Possesses experience with Oracle or other Enterprise Resource Planning or Material Requirements Planning systems, sourcing and negotiating supplier contracts, and familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practice and Food and Drug Administration regulations (Code of Federal Regulations 210 & 211).

Experience and Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of related experience and 1 year in a leadership role managing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
- Certified in Planning and Inventory Management or Certified Supply required and Chain Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
