The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for attracting, identifying, evaluating, and hiring high-skilled and diverse talent. The TAS partners with Hiring Managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to ensure hiring goals are well-defined and achieved. Additionally, the TAS will utilize various recruitment strategies and platforms to attract talent to the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and their impact on broader business goals.
  • Attract, source, and screen active and passive candidates using creative techniques, including job boards, social networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Meet or exceed weekly recruiting metrics around phone screens, interviews, and offers.
  • Identify and screen candidates for role fit and cultural add; provide recommendations for interviewing and hiring.
  • Proactively seek diverse candidate pools and support diversity initiatives.
  • Apply data-driven recruiting methodologies to influence timely and effective hiring decisions while maintaining data integrity across all recruiting tools.
  • Use internal reporting tools to track recruiting funnel and sourcing activities.

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment.
  • Hybrid work schedule: remote work 2 days per week; in-office 3 days per week.
  • Must be located in Houston, TX.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree with at least 2 years of relevant recruiting or talent sourcing experience in a corporate environment.
  • Or BA/BS degree with at least 5 years of relevant recruiting or talent sourcing experience in an agency environment.
  • Experience building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, full lifecycle recruiting, hiring process management, and related technologies.
  • Experience in engineering and construction roles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales recruiting.
  • Proficiency in using Boolean search strings.
