Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Server Operations Analyst to support the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of our Windows and Linux server infrastructure. Responsibilities include server administration, patching, hardware support, and system reliability, with a focus on maintaining optimal performance and availability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in data center operations, troubleshooting, security best practices, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with automation tools to enhance operational efficiency is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain observability and site reliability engineering practices using tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or SolarWinds Orion.
• Monitor SLIs and SLOs to improve system reliability and incident response.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Develop and utilize scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation of operational workflows.
• Work with IT automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Administer physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux), including installation, configuration, and patching.
• Support SQL Server Failover Clusters, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, rack-and-stack activities, and support data center operations including power and cabling.
• Provide technical support for incidents and service requests, participating in on-call rotations.
• Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives to modernize infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in server operations and infrastructure management.
• Experience working in a NOC environment with server performance monitoring and availability management.
• Expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and orchestration tools.
• Understanding of networking, storage, and ITSM practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with SQL Server Failover Clusters.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MS, Red Hat, AWS/Azure).
• Experience with application deployment automation and infrastructure as code.

MUST HAVES: Server administration including patching, hardware support, racking and stacking.

PREFERRED: Powershell, Bash, Python scripting; AWS, Azure, GCP; SQL Server HA configuration.
