Requirements and Description

Benefits:

• Flight Privileges: Offered after 30 days for employees and eligible family members.
• Weekly pay for hourly employees (may vary by state).

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations according to OSHA/TSA/DOT/USPS, company policies, and laws.
• Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and shift rotations.
• Enforce company policies, handle disciplinary actions, promote diversity, and address employee relations issues.
• Communicate with management regarding issues.
• Conduct shift meetings and assist in payroll administration.
• Perform duties related to flight operations, including weather reports, passenger lists, aircraft turnaround, emergency responses, and record keeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites

• Must be an in-state resident.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check (up to 10 years).
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Complete SIDA training for airport security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Effective verbal and radio communication skills.

Working Conditions

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Work Environment: Outdoors in various weather conditions, exposed to noise, fumes, dirt, and dust. Must be alert to moving vehicles and aircraft, and able to use radio equipment.

Physical Demands

• Lift/move items of 70+ pounds regularly; lift 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Work in cramped or elevated spaces, carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
