We are scaling our engineered solution division and seeking a highly experienced electrical distribution and control Senior Quality Control Technician.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Technician located in Houston, TX. The Quality Control Technician will oversee daily quality control operations, performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection, ensuring compliance with quality assurance, quality management, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Responsibilities include conducting quality audits, developing and implementing quality control procedures, internal and external FAT - Factory Acceptance Testing and ensuring product and process quality standards are met. Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance, turns ratio test, CT secondary voltage injection ratio test, breaker test.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management
• Proficiency in NFPA 70, UL and ETL standards.
• Experience with 600v and below distribution and control equipment, medium voltage experience a plus.
• 10+ years experience in electrical distribution and control manufacture and testing / inspection
• Experience working with Megger, Dranetz, Fluke or similar testing equipment.
• Experience with NETA factory-based testing procedures.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
• Experience in conducting Quality Auditing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
