Description:

Audubon is seeking to hire a Process Safety Program Manager to be part of a team working in Houston, TX. The Process Safety Program Manager will manage the Technical Process Safety, PSM and risk control efforts for major Engineering Programs. The Process Safety Program Manager will assist with resolving, implementing and coordinating other resources dedicated to these efforts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

  • Managing Technical Process Safety and Risk Management teams to deliver required studies, reports and other documentation to support assigned major Engineering Program(s).
  • Ensuring Program compliance with Regulations, Client specifications and Audubon standards related to Technical Process Safety and Risk Management.
  • Providing timely communication to Department Managers, Project Managers, Client Process Safety representatives and others regarding cost, schedule, and other metrics.
  • Facilitating Process Hazard Analysis, Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and other Risk Assessment studies as assigned.
  • Driving process safety corrective actions to closure including timely notification to the Client and affected Audubon personnel..
  • Setting and tracking goals and measures for Technical Process Safety program improvement, including training others in appropriate techniques.
  • Assisting with Business Development for target clients as requested.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
  • BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • 20+ years in engineering focused on Oil/Gas and/or Chemical sectors required.
  • 10+ years of managing and implementing Technical Process Safety for major Offshore Oil/Gas Projects preferred.
  • Certification in HAZOP/LOPA Facilitation strongly preferred.
  • Computer skills including MS Office.
  • AutoCAD experience a plus.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
