To succeed as the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer, you must have:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 810 years of rotating equipment engineering experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical industries, including field work and turnaround support.
• Proficiency in vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, and knowledge of industry codes/standards.
• Valid drivers license and TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineers responsibilities will include:

• Ensure high reliability and performance of rotating equipment through maintenance strategies, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to align on technical direction, priorities, and engineering support.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment issues and prevent recurrence.
• Oversee the rotating equipment asset management system and ensure alignment with broader work processes and technical communities.
• Drive technical support for maintenance, upgrades, and growth projects while ensuring safety and documentation standards compliance.

PEMEX Deer Park is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX. It is part of the Pemex group, a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics, and marketing. The refinerys rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day, and it has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crude to produce the high-quality transportation fuels the world needs. The Pemex site is co-located with other 3rd party chemical facilities, allowing for further integration and optimization of the refinery and its products.
