The Person:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A Day in the Life of the Shipping & Receiving Assistant:

• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments for accuracy and condition
• Organize and label inventory, maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring packaging is secure and meets quality standards
• Coordinate with various departments to fulfill material requests and transfers
• Track inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with stock management
• Use company software to update shipment statuses and maintain records
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, adhering to safety protocols

Compensation DOE:

• Salary Range: $16 - $22 (DOE)

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or similar role is preferred
• Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to use basic hand tools
