On behalf of our client, Procom Services is seeking a highly experienced Expeditor III to optimize the delivery of purchased materials and ensure alignment with Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing principles. This role is responsible for analyzing sources of supply, production schedules, transportation methods, and related data to develop and maintain the most efficient material delivery schedules.

Hybrid Schedule - Houston, Texas 77079

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze internal and external data including supplier performance, production demands, and logistics capabilities to determine optimal delivery schedules.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, production planning, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material delivery.
• Maintain and continuously improve JIT delivery systems to minimize inventory while avoiding production delays.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in logistics processes to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and delivery schedules.
• Use ERP and supply chain planning tools to develop forecasts and delivery plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or procurement within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of JIT delivery principles, transportation logistics, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
