Automotive Mechanic
IMMEDIATELY HIRING AN AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL FULL-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY in Houston, TX.
We're hiring an entry-level Automotive Mechanic responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role in ensuring our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced automotive mechanics with the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery installations, and fluid top-offs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Automotive Mechanic will utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training and hands-on practice.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- State Driver's License
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Prior experience in automotive repair or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment.
