As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and capable Director of Operations to join our leadership team.

Position Summary:

We're looking for a highly experienced, grounded, and motivated individual who “gets it,” “wants it,” and is fully capable of stepping into a pivotal leadership role. The Director of Operations will oversee field operations, project scheduling, resource planning, and ensure our crews deliver high-performance results across multiple disciplines—including asphalt & concrete paving, subgrade stabilization, underground utilities, and seal coating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all field operations across multiple active job sites

• Lead and support field crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards

• Coordinate project scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation

• Work closely with estimators, project managers, and ownership to ensure seamless project execution

• Maintain and improve internal systems for tracking progress, budgets, and jobsite communication

• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

• Uphold AAA Paving's reputation for quality, reliability, and integrity

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil construction (asphalt, concrete, or related fields)

• Proven leadership and field management experience

• Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and operations management

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Stable work history and commitment to long-term growth

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Houston area
