Job Brief

The Human Resources Generalist provides both strategic and hands-on support to the Human Resources Manager and/or the Director of Human Resources. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality service across key HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll - Ensures accuracy with employee hours, pay changes, adjustments, and to support reporting, audits, and compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Benefits - Assists with enrollments and eligibility tracking.
  • Employee Relations - Supports employee engagement initiatives and assists with internal communications, recognition efforts, and event coordination. Handles routine employee inquiries, escalating complex matters to the Director of HR.
  • Performance Development and Management - Assists with performance review coordination, development programs, and early-stage employee performance concerns.
  • Onboarding - Coordinates onboarding processes, including background checks, I-9 verification, and policy education.
  • Recruitment - Assists with job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and participation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in an HR position required; experience in a legal environment is preferred.
  • Job Stability - demonstrated history of at least 3 years in each prior organization.
  • Proficient in UltiPro or UKG.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid Environment: Must be able to work onsite for the duration of the probationary period, typically 90 days.
