SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and generate reports to ensure accurate inventory records. You will collaborate with the purchasing and receiving teams to ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.

You will also enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss, conduct regular physical counts, and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Additionally, you will help maintain efficient warehouse operations by optimizing stock levels and ensuring the accurate handling of goods.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inventory management or a related role.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and purchase order.
  • Ability to use warehouse management systems and related technology.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of merchandise.
  • Experience using the SAP software.
  • Experience using the Microsoft office.
