Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 12:00pm

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
•Bilingual Preferred
•High School Diploma or GED
•2 years general office skills experience
•Intermediate Computer, Microsoft Office, and data entry experience required.
•Ability to interact and communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds, general public, and other staff members.
•Must be able to multitask in high pressured, fast-paced, stressful situations, in a calm and professional manner.
•Must be willing to work in a team setting with a positive attitude as well as independently.
•Must be willing to cross-train and accept additional duties as assigned.
•Must be punctual, dependable, able to meet attendance requirements.
•Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize.
•Must pass a criminal background check

Primary Job Duties
•General clerical duties
•Process payments and new filings
•Greet customers and determine nature of the visit, assist with Court and County Government procedures.
•Process case data entry whether submitted by mail, in person, e-mail, fax, or Efile, from case initiation to disposition (case processing)
•Manage high phone call volume
•Maintain and ensure accuracy and integrity of the Courts electronic and paper files for all cases, preparing notices and correspondence, and maintaining records associated.
•Cross train in any department of the Justice Court with the ability to multitask proficiently at multiple job functions.

After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
