Primary Purpose

The Center for Educator Success is designed to transform educator talent pipelines by partnering with districts to reimagine a comprehensive approach to educator recruitment and retention.

Reporting to the Officer of Certification and Partnerships, the Compliance Manager will serve as a critical member of the Certification and Partnerships team, responsible for coordinating and managing the admissions and certification process in accordance with Texas Administrative code.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Master's degree from an accredited university
  • Texas Teacher certification

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Instructional position requiring attention to detail, effective communication, and systematic thinking to support novice teachers with day-one-ready tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of programming, policies, and procedures to support teachers and lead candidates in obtaining certification.
  • Ability to learn new technical skills quickly and independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional work habits and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment.
  • Quick learner with initiative.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to deliver TEKS content specific to PK-12 to support teacher development.
  • Knowledge of the Texas Teachers Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).

Experience

  • Three to five years of experience in a certification program preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establish digital systems for educator submission and processing.
  • Maintain accurate data for reporting.
  • Ensure educators operate within Texas Education guidelines.
  • Monitor student progress and develop certification plans.
  • Manage the Center's teacher and leader resources.
  • Learn new technical skills for data management.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Meet individual and program goals.
  • Provide regular updates and support continuous learning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
