We are looking for a skilled construction Assistant Project Manager to facilitate the smooth completion of construction projects. You will ensure that your assigned construction project has an adequate and timely flow of materials and equipment.

Position Description:

Assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in providing administrative and technical direction of a project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with the Project Manager to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with the contract, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Manages and Processes project information flow that includes RFIs, Submittals, Construction Documents, Change Proposals, Project Logs and Closeouts.
• Assists with proposal qualification and Subcontract / Purchase Order development.
• Prepares monthly Pay Applications, Cost Reporting and Costs Projections.
• Works with Project Manager and Superintendent to provide schedule updates.
• Communicates with Owners, Design Team, and Suppliers to facilitate construction activities.
• Schedules meetings, establishes an agenda and records minutes.

Education and Training:

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, P6, Microsoft, Timber Scan and Procore.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of construction practices, standards, and their impact on project activities.
• Basic leadership and supervisory skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills

Physical Demands:
