Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer

Reports To: IT Manager

Direct Reports: None

Primary Function:

This role will be responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure for enterprise networking across the organization. The Sr. Network Engineer leads network operations and projects, ensures stability and optimization of core systems, and manages connectivity across all sites. The role also evaluates and implements solutions for network architecture and security, while working closely with IT, operations, and global teams to support a secure and scalable infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Design and manage LAN/WAN networks and ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
• Monitor network performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks or outages.
• Work with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to support cross-functional IT initiatives.
• Ensure accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, IP addressing, and hardware inventory.
• Conduct firmware upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
• Manage vendors and coordinate with telecom providers to ensure service-level compliance.
• Train and mentor junior network engineers and support staff.
• Support incident response and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Cisco or similar network certifications are preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles, with hands-on experience managing enterprise networks and global connectivity.
