About the Job

Foxconn TX group is now looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our Houston office. The individual will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

Location: Houston, TX

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate the current operation processes to identify areas of inefficiency and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and process control tools to monitor and improve key process indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, defect rate, and yield.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.
  • Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs to assist management in decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's procedures to maintain operational status of production equipment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of improvements to existing equipment, manufacturing methods, and tooling.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team, actively participating in improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a related field is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of FAE and experience with AutoCAD.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and process control techniques.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin are a plus.
