Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking an Electrical Team Lead to join our team. The Electrical Team Lead at Frazer reports to the Electrical Supervisor, and is responsible for coordinating, guiding, and supporting the daily activities of the Electrical Department to ensure the accurate and timely installation of wiring and electrical components in Frazer's EMS vehicles. This role balances hands-on electrical work with team supervision, ensuring all installations meet Frazer's high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Electrical Team Lead Look Like?

  1. Helps with overseeing, organizing, and driving daily operations for the Electrical Department.
  2. Conducts daily huddles to assign tasks, set expectations, and communicate production updates.
  3. Supports a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  4. Coaches and motivates your team while leading by example in performance and conduct.
  5. Reviews job orders and ensures proper materials, prints, and work instructions are available.
  6. Guides team members in the accurate installation of electrical components and wiring.
  7. Provides support in troubleshooting issues and verifies installations against BOM and quality standards.
  8. Quality, Safety & Process Improvement
  9. Monitors team productivity and quality using performance metrics and KPIs.
  10. Ensures all safety protocols (PPE, JSAs, Toolbox Talks) are followed.
  11. Coordinates with Engineering, QC, and other departments to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
  12. Completes and resolves "Punch List" items quickly and efficiently.
  13. Promotes good housekeeping and a safe, organized work area.
Secondary Functions:
  1. Assists and cross-trains within the Electrical Department with assigned tasks.
  2. Assists other departments when needed.
  3. Checks in material when assigned.
  4. Orders material and KanBan for the work center.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team.

Also, here are a few software packages that the Electrical Team Lead would eventually need to be versed in. Don't worry . . . we expect some on-the-job training.

Oh, and $alary

Of course, we didn't forget salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $29.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

The Electrical Team Lead will work Monday - Friday 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
