As a Workday Integration Developer, you will design, build, and support integrations and custom solutions that connect Workday with internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable integrations that support and enhance core business processes. This role is ideal for someone who not only brings strong technical expertise but also demonstrates a desire to take ownership of initiatives and drive them forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, BIRT, and RaaS reports.
  • Gather and document integration requirements; design robust, scalable solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure integration solutions align with Workday best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Review test cases, participate in QA efforts, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Document technical designs, system flows, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with HR support teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
  • Independently lead meetings, drive integration projects, and manage stakeholder communications with confidence and clarity.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, BIRT, and RaaS.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
  • Proficiency in web service technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
  • Experience supporting the full integration lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Workday's integration framework and best practices for optimizing data flows.
  • Understanding of data security, compliance, and audit requirements in cloud-based environments.
  • You are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking initiative and guiding efforts within a team setting.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
