Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment using high frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Cardiology Department and KelseySeybold Clinic to perform vascular and/or cardiac sonography
  • Utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS) as is applicable
  • May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties
  • Procedures may include EKGs, contrast echocardiograms, and report generation

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
  • RVT or RVS and RDCS or RCS BCLS certification through American Red Cross
  • 5+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech and performing vascular and echocardiography studies OR 3 years of Kelsey specific Ultrasound experience
  • Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience
  • May be required to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Lab Supervisor or Cardiology Lab Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related healthcare field or Bachelor's degree in related health field
  • 5+ years of experience performing vascular and/or echocardiography Cardiology Ultrasound and Flow Lab equipment familiarity
  • PACS and RIS experience
  • Speaks an additional language
  • Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
