The posting is for a supervising engineer for the traffic signal engineering group of the Transportation and Drainage service line. The selected candidate will supervise a team of engineers and transportation technical staff located at Transtar. The selected candidate's responsibilities include: Responds to citizens concerning various traffic-related issues and complaints; develop corrective actions and follow them to ensure implementation. Supervise the development, implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of traffic signal timing plans for all new and rebuilt signalized intersections. Manage traffic signal performance improvement program to ensure signal coordination and progression are in place along major corridors. Operation and supervise the City's Traffic Management Center.
