Requirements Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, computer science, data science, management information systems, or a related field. 3-7 years of professional experience, blending data analytics and support roles. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with: Designing and developing data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Relational databases, including data modeling and transformations using SQL. Coding with Python or other object-oriented languages. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and identify trends. Exceptional oral communication skills for presenting insights effectively to diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities As a Senior Audit Data Analyst, your contributions will include: Leading end-to-end data analytics processes, from gathering requirements and preparing data to deploying analytics solutions and monitoring for continuous improvement. Managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently to meet deadlines and optimize outcomes. Designing and implementing continuous monitoring processes to identify risks and enhance departmental operations. Creating compelling data visualizations, such as dashboards, to deliver actionable insights. Clearly communicating complex analytical results to diverse audiences, ensuring accessibility for non-technical stakeholders. Fostering positive relationships with executive leadership and various departments through strong interpersonal and communication skills. Conducting training sessions to build foundational analytic skills and promote collaboration across teams. Evaluating and incorporating cutting-edge technologies to enhance data analytics and audit functions. Supporting quality control initiatives to align with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards by tracking and reporting key performance and risk indicators. Performing quality assessments to ensure compliance with department requirements and best practices. General Information Work Environment Monday - Friday | 40 hrs. per week | Exempt May be required to work more than forty hours during the workweek or on weekends when special projects need to be completed, or deadlines need to be met.
