We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to lead organizational development for a newly launched business line within Refined Technologies. This role will be instrumental in building a high-performing team from the ground up, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and fostering a culture of excellence from day one. We're looking for a servant-hearted leader with the ability to influence and drive impactful initiatives that enable teams to flourish!

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business line leadership on people-related matters through effective relationships and engagement with business line Artisans and broader HR team and specialists.
  • Actively engage in talent selection and champion the recruitment of high-impact individuals who will thrive within RTI's culture and contribute to its growth.
  • Drive organizational development through effective workforce planning, recruiting, talent/performance management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Proactively contributes to the business decision making process by providing guidance and advice across all areas of the Artisan lifecycle.
  • Advises leaders on appropriate resolution of Artisan relations and disciplinary issues. Investigates and resolves issues as needed, leading with empathy.
  • Responsible for day-to-day HR decisions, ensuring that support and advice are aligned with corporate, business and functional objectives and strategies.
Talent Acquisition
  • Partner with leadership to define hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of top talent through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Collaborate with external recruiters and staffing agencies as needed.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with Refined Technologies' mission and values.
Onboarding & Integration
  • Design and implement a scalable onboarding program tailored to business line needs, aligned with RTI's established onboarding program.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics including orientation, systems access, and training.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, helping new hires integrate quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor onboarding success and continuously improve processes based on feedback.

  • Balances consistency with adaptability, confidently managing routine responsibilities while remaining agile and open to learning. Embraces new challenges and contributes proactively to evolving priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting startup or high-growth environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
  • Passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

This role requires in-office presence three days per week at a minimum, with occasional additional in-person attendance for key meetings and company events.

Travel Requirements

This position requires minimal travel and is primarily based at our Spring, TX office.
