Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and provide treatment to pediatric clients in the clinic.
- Keep scheduled clinic hours while maintaining flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of clinic expansion.
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements set by the Medical Director of Pediatrics.
- Adhere to clinical diagnostic and evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Remain available by phone during regular hours for support and assistance.
- Contribute to the review and development of patient education material and practice guidelines.
- Supervise health care students and non-physician providers, ensuring high standards in pediatric care.
- Participate in staff meetings, committees, and the Performance Improvement Program.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage.
- Engage in other duties as assigned, consistently promoting clinical quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in working with newborns to adolescents.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Adherence to the professional Code of Ethics and continuing education requirements.
- Maintain good standing with the professional licensing board.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations served.
- Effective communication skills with staff, community, and the general public.
- Ability to perform duties with reasonable accommodations and maintain composure under stress.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Proficiency with all aspects of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
