Job Details

Completes paperwork associated with prisoners and jail activity; fills out the jail log on the computer; maintains order and discipline in the jail; makes reports of jail incidents; reviews legal documents pertaining to prisoners and takes necessary actions, such as transfer to another facility; fingerprints and photographs all prisoners. Books in prisoners; reviews paperwork; obtains signature from prisoners on required documents; checks in prisoner's personal belongings and stores in proper area. Cares for prisoners; puts prisoners in cells; feeds and checks every 30 minutes; takes prisoners out to talk to detectives. Takes money for cash bonds; gives receipts; accounts for funds.
