We are searching for a School Coordinator, someone to assist patients/families in maintaining a child's enrollment in school and provide support for school curriculum. Think you've got what it takes? Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, bachelor's degree in education preferred. TSTC Texas Standard teaching certificate from Texas education Agency required 2 years working in a school setting, or school system required. Special education experience preferred. Responsibilities: Develops lesson plans and provides developmentally appropriate educational services to patient Participates in departmental responsibilities and collaborates with school district. Provides educational support through 1:1 sessions or in the TCH school classroom Uses resources to create innovative lesson plans for students to learn in a hospital environment.
