Construction PMO Director

EZEE Fiber is seeking a Construction Project Management Director with relevant fiber optic construction, networking, and project management experience. You will assist the EZEE Fiber Project Management team with tracking, reporting, and key metrics to deliver 100's of concurrent projects.

Your technical inclination and your strong desire to establish a process will help you shine in this role. You will quickly understand the project flow and will leverage your team's strengths to accomplish the work at hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Telecommunications based projects in construction, dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber to the home from creation to final delivery.
• Manage project database, ensuring input accuracy and proper output reporting
• Ensure project delivery teams are executing according to planned project timelines.
• Schedule project deliverables with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Host cross-functional project meetings to get weekly updates on project tasks and activities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and track projects and status.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure all project documentation is appropriately updated in data repositories.
• Perform general data mining when required.
• Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools, and processes (i.e., reporting, capacity, and ticketing tools, etc.) that support the workflow of projects. Suggest improvements.
• Ensure that all projects are correctly invoiced.
• Ensure all contractual documentation is in place properly and executed, such as MSA's, COI, Telecommunications agreements, etc.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not required,

• 5 years of Outside Plant (OSP) Telecom Construction and/or Engineering project coordination experience required.
• Minimum 15 years combined experience in a OSP Construction, fiber network deployment, and project management.
• Understanding of Project Management software and development of software for project reporting
• Strong understanding of life cycle of fiber deployment from transport equipment to customer preferred.
• Experience with GIS based software.
• Experience with an enterprise project management software platform such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheets, SiteTracker, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills and explain how you stay organized
• Must be able to articulate your expertise and manage many fast-moving projects concurrently
• Must be able to track and report on milestones, what milestones are at risk and why.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and personable
