We are searching for a Patient Sitter Texas Children's Hospital Float Pool - someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting to ensure the safety of patients at risk of harm to self or others, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Care will be delivered that incorporates Family Centered Care in a cost-effective manner and is developmental and age appropriate for the patient population. Will float to EC, Acute Care, and Critical Care. Think youve got what it takes? Shifts available: Days 7 a-3 p Nights: 11 p-7 a Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Knowledge of basic nursing care. Ability to respond quickly to requests and interact with people at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: 1 yr. experience in a psychiatric inpatient or outpatient program, Psychiatric Residential placement programs.
