The Shipping Clerk is directly responsible for checking drivers in and out, planning picks, planning loads and processing outbound paperwork. Warehouse Management Systems experience, detail orientation, multi-tasking and accurate paperwork are critical to success in the role. Essential Functions:Understands the general function of a warehouse management system (WMS) and can follow work instructions well. Ensure drivers are checked in timely and with professional communication. Communicates and works well with the Shipping team. Follows all safety procedures. Plans picking and processes orders in the Warehouse Management System expediently, accurately and timely. Plans outbound loads and processes them in the Warehouse Management System expediently, accurately and timely. Ensures product has been audited before loading and is loaded on the correct outbound load Ensures outbound loads meet optimal cube and weight requirements.
