Join a dynamic Retail Operations team within the energy sector as a Business Analyst, where your analytical skills and technical acumen will help shape critical billing processes. This hybrid position offers exposure to cross-functional teams, Power BI dashboards, and SQL-based reporting.
Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Analyze billing data to support Retail Operations, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Use Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and delimited data functions for reporting.
• Run and interpret SQL queries; identify when updates may be needed.
• Review and update Power BI dashboards (nice-to-have).
• Flexibly support multiple pods, adapting to changing priorities and teams.
• Understand the broader business impact of analytical outputs and ensure high attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree required (or 4-5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
• 1 years of analytical experience preferred; exceptionally strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Experience with energy sector billing data, particularly gas or power, is a significant plus.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to interpret SQL and navigate reporting tools.
• Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying systemic impacts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and integrated systems such as PeopleSoft and Passport is advantageous.

• Virtual interview with the hiring manager via Microsoft Teams, using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method.
