Apply to find out more and become our next ROCKStar.POSITION SUMMARY:The dietary aide is responsible for helping with meal preparation, delivery, and meal service clean-up in accordance with current regulatory standards and the established policies and procedures of the Department of Food & Nutrition Services.QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a ROCKSTAR attitudeAbility to read, write and speak the English language, communicate effectively and carry out verbal and/or written instructionsFood Handlers Certification required to be presented during orientation/before working in the kitchenExperience working in a healthcare setting preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist cook with food preparation and delivery and/or collect and wash dishes/utensils, ensuring highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, as determined by shift assignmentsProperly handle chemicals and cleaning compounds using personal protective equipment and following proper safety guidelinesEnsure that all work areas are maintained keeping them clean and safe in accordance with sanitary, safety and infections control proceduresPerform daily scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with sanitation, safety, and infection control policies and procedures including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing walls and equipment while wearing personnel protective equipment (PPE) as instructed by the supervisorSafely utilize equipment; report any equipment needing service or repair immediatelyUse appropriate workplace behavior; always adhere to the Department Food & Nutrition Services dress codeMust be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with FPACP attendance policyPromote positive customer service with residents, family members, guests, and team members.Understand that other duties not listed may be required as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWORK SCHEDULE:As assigned, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt positionAA/EEO/M/F/D/VWe offer great benefits to our valued team members!Excellent compensation - 6 Holidays - Life Insurance- Short Term and Long Term DisabilityHealth PlansVisionDentalGenerous PTO DailyPay Available Much More#becomearockstar #fpacprocks
