Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven professional to lead and monitor supplier development initiatives within the logistics category. This role focuses on managing non-conformities through LCAF ticket oversight, driving supplier quality improvements, and enhancing response and closure rates in collaboration with logistics partners.

Job Description

  • Leads and monitors supplier development activities across the assigned category
  • Managing logistic process non-conformities by monitoring LCAF tickets and developing and executing Supplier Quality improvement initiatives
  • Engaging with logistics functions and suppliers to improve LCAF response and closure rate
  • Proactively drives logistic-related supplier process improvement to enable on-time supply
  • Drives high severity incident analysis and corrective actions with logistic suppliers
  • Participate in business reviews along with operational logistics and logistic category with Carriers, Freight Forwarders, and distribution centers.
  • Having effective communication with other functional areas is required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives

Skills Required
  • Have minimum of 4 years of experience in a Supplier Quality or Quality Role.
  • With O&G experience
  • A proven track record in Logistics / experience in logistics, freight forwarding environment.
  • A proven track record in supplier quality / managing supplier quality related issues
  • Bring working knowledge of assigned category
  • Possess ISO 9001 Auditor skills, ideally lead auditor qualification
  • Experienced in continuous improvement processes (6S, Lean, or similar)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Technical Skills: Previous experience in similar environment
  • Soft Skills: Can work as stand alone, able to use Client systems (training provided)
Education/Training/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Additional Requirements
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate/Salary
  • $32.00 - $36.00/hr. depending on experience
