We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Early Commercial Strategy and Business Development. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in preparing our innovative rare disease pipeline for commercial success. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive launch strategies, evaluating market dynamics, and guiding decision-making through robust market assessments and competitive analyses.

This position also involves identifying strategic partnerships, negotiating deal terms, and ensuring alignment with our company's mission and objectives. Candidates should hold a Ph.D., MD, and/or MBA, ideally with a focus in life sciences, healthcare, or business. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries is required, specifically in areas related to rare diseases, oncology, or immunology and inflammation.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong background in early commercial strategy, launch planning, and operational implementation, alongside experience in building commercial organizations and leading business development initiatives. Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential for this role. Moreover, a profound understanding of the biotechnology landscape, especially concerning rare disease market dynamics and competitive intelligence, is crucial.
