We are a leading organization in the power delivery sector, seeking a detail-focused Data Entry Analyst to support our customer payment operations. This 1-year contract position is based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work setup (in-office on Wednesdays).
Data Entry Analyst Responsibilities

• Accurately input manual and electronic payments into customer accounts.
• Research and identify the correct customer accounts for incoming check payments.
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment errors with precision.
• Conduct extensive data entry and payment research using enterprise systems.
• Generate reports using Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Passport, Impromptu, and other tools.
• Support clerical tasks, special projects, and other assigned duties.
• Maintain consistency and focus in a high-volume, repetitive task environment.

Data Entry Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in finance (Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP) and other Office tools.
• Familiarity with mainframe systems such as PeopleSoft, EERS, and Passport is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working independently and staying productive with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
