Responsible for scheduling outpatient diagnostic exams for the various departments. The scheduling of exams includesobtaining accurate patient demographic, clinical and financial information and the coordination of available resources tomeet the needs of the patient. may include billing responsibilities .. Receive incoming telephone calls; from physician offices, patients, or patient walk-ins and schedule the requestedoutpatient test(s).2. Collect the appropriate level of demographic, clinical and financial information; including patients name, date ofbirth, ordering physician, ordered test(s), diagnosis, telephone number(s) and payment mode(s).3.
