Job Details

Responsibilities

* Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team while remaining actively involved in coding and architecture

* Drive the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with product and company strategy

* Architect and build scalable systems across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and AI and ML pipelines

* Oversee the design and delivery of robust integration solutions that connect our platform with diverse e-commerce ecosystems

* Ensure reliable mission-critical data flows through error handling, monitoring, and synchronization mechanisms

* Establish technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices that accelerate development and integration

* Collaborate closely with product, customer success, and external retail partners to ensure seamless implementation and measurable business outcomes

* Foster a high-performance engineering culture built on collaboration, innovation, and accountability

* Act as a strategic partner to the founders, with a clear path toward stepping into the CTO role

Qualifications

* Ten or more years of professional software engineering experience, 5 years of leadership experience, with strong full-stack expertise

* Proven leadership experience in AI and ML-focused startups with successful outcomes

* Hands-on proficiency in Python as a core requirement

* Cloud deployment experience

* Strong experience developing and deploying AI and ML models into production environments

* Track record of leading and scaling engineering teams while staying actively involved in development

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical priorities with business needs

Preferred Qualifications

* Background in e-commerce or retail technology is preferred, with fashion experience considered a significant plus

* Experience architecting integration frameworks and reusable SDKs for third-party developers

* Assisted in fundraising efforts and participated in boardroom-level discussions

* Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
