Job Description:
• Contribute to ERP system updates and implementations related to transportation management and freight accruals. • Update and maintain various agreements and tables within our SAP/Oracle Transportation Management platform to ensure freight accrual accuracy. • Work within SAP/Oracle for timely creation of master data elements to facilitate efficient order processing, carrier assignments, and load tendering. • Monitor and provide monthly reports on cost to serve and freight accrual performance. • Work with 3rd party freight payables service provider and internal account's payables team as necessary to ensure efficient auditing, processing, and payment of vendor invoices. • Provide support and back-up coverage as needed to assist team of Logistics Specialists. This would include responding to delivery issues, checking carrier availability for urgent orders, resolution of damage complaints, etc. Skills: • Basic knowledge of SAP TM/SD functions specifically focused in the areas of logistics master data, freight accruals, and payments is a plus. • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of experience working with freight accrual and purchase order accrual systems. • Must have an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. • Must have highly developed leadership, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills. • Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. |
