As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.
We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Houston, TX (77043). This position requires a dog-friendly caregiver with a valid driver's license and insurance for transportation support.
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX 77043)
Shifts Available: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
* Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
* Provide transportation for errands, appointments, or activities as needed (insured driver required).
* Monitor and track client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
* Provide companionship and emotional support.
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
* Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean environment.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care setting is a plus).
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.
* Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
* Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.
* Must be dog-friendly (client has pets in the home).
* Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
