Job Summary
The Coordinator, Graduate Admissions promotes the University's graduate programs and facilitates the enrollment of students. The position is responsible for recruiting and retaining graduate students in collaboration with the colleges. Communicates with prospective graduate services and participates in activities involving projection of the University's image to the public.
Duties
* Develops, coordinates and executes recruitment plans, campaigns and events to promote the university's graduate programs
* Assists in implementing all phases of graduate recruitment and increases graduate enrollment
* Establishes relationships with corporate, governmental, educational and other organizational and professional associations
* Works with colleges to gain understanding of graduate programs
* Establishes contacts with prospective, current, and former students
* Maintains student records

Qualifications
Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
* Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience
* Experience in recruitment or sales, student information systems, and higher education.
License/Certification:

Work Location and Physical Demands
Primary Work Location:
* Spends most of the time conducting field-based recruitment efforts and the remaining time in campus-based efforts.
Physical Demands:
* Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
* Position is physically comfortable;
* Individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
* Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks
