A-Line Staffing is now hiring Patient Escorts in Houston, TX.
This Patient Escort position is with a well-known healthcare institution and offers meaningful, patient-focused work in a fast-paced clinical environment. All offers are part-time only.

• $17.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service

• Part-time position
• Contract assignment
• Labor-intensive, active role (on feet entire shift)
• Virtual interview
• Rotating weekends and some holidays required
• Consistent punctuality and attendance are mandatory
• Parking is at the contractor's expense
• May be required to assist at alternate locations outside of the main campus

• Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (Part-Time)
• Training Schedule (required for all new hires):
– Monday–Friday
– 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
– Up to 3 weeks or until all training is completed
– Applies regardless of assigned shift

• Escort hospital and ambulatory patients via wheelchair or stretcher to appointments and destinations
• Safely transport patients from designated entry points to initial appointments
• Push patients weighing up to 250 lbs via wheelchair or stretcher
• Sanitize wheelchairs prior to each patient using established disinfection protocols
• Complete Daily Disinfection & Tracking Logs, including:
– Date and times
– Equipment asset tag and type
– Disinfectant used
– Patient MRN
– Destination
• Follow all equipment checklists for assisting patients on and off wheelchairs
• Provide compassionate, courteous, and professional service to patients and caregivers
• Navigate the campus independently while following directions at all times

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
• Strong customer service background
• Ability to push at least 200–250 lbs
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Must be dependable, punctual, and compassionate
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift

• Light blue polo
• Black scrub bottoms or black business-casual pants with belt loops
• Black belt (if applicable)
• Non-skid sole shoes with black or white socks
• No artificial nails, eyelashes, denim, leggings, hooded jackets, or logo apparel
