Senior Healthcare Associate at Pride Health
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our clients medical facility based in Houston, TX 77024. This is a 3?month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top?tier healthcare organization!
Location: Houston, TX 77024
Duration: 3 months Contract (possibilities of extension)
Pay rate: $19?22/hr on W2 (based on experience and educational qualifications)

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information, initials, and patient signature post?venipuncture; ensure tubes are labelled correctly and maintain required records.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements
- Ability to provide quality, error?free work in a fast?paced environment.
- Self?directed work with minimal on?site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including paediatric and geriatric techniques.
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on?call, and overtime as staffing needs require.
- Compliance with all policies & procedures, dress code, health & safety guidelines, and everyday excellence guiding principles.
- Decision?making based on established procedures with sound judgment.
- Reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and a clean driving record when applicable.
- Travel and flexible hours for covering multiple locations.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a high?volume setting.
- Superior customer focus, open and transparent communication with peers, supervisors, and patients, and adaptability to change.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Three or more years as a Phlebotomist.
- Customer?service experience in a retail or service setting preferred.
